Lilly & Jude spent a large part of the morning playing on the floor together. Lilly loves her brother, and he lights up whenever she is in the room. We had some fun this morning!
Jude and I visited Nic, Jen & Logan (& Lisa, Jen's mom) at the hospital this morning. I've updated Logan's slideshow with more images for you to see. Click on the link and enjoy!
I was organizing my computer files yesterday when I came upon these images that I took in June of 2007. A year and a half ago! I shot them in RAW format and at the time I didn't have the capability to convert them to jpegs, so they just sat on my computer, unviewed. When I opened them up, it was like when I used to lose film, and then develop it years after taking the pictures! Most of the pictures were taken on a trip to Kansas that I took with Lilly and my parents. She was teething hardcore, and if you look closely, you can see her massively swollen gums where her molars were coming in. Poor girl! There are also pictures of Nic and Jen shortly after they got engaged (...and now they're getting ready to welcome Logan into the world...probably TOMORROW!). The rest of the pictures are of my mom, my cousin Brandy's little boy, Kaden, and Lilly's forst tractor ride. Enjoy!
We often catch Lilly slowly dancing to music with her arms raised. She has an expression that I'd describe as reverent...if you can image a 2 1/2 year old being reverent! And when we ask her what she's doing, she always replies, "I'm worshipping Jesus." That's my girl!
Shan & Gav came into town Sunday afternoon, and are leaving tomorrow morning. It was a short visit, but we were glad to see them when we could. Unfortunately, little Logan decided not to make his grand entrance, so Shannon & Gavin will have to wait until Christmas to meet him with Sam. While Shan & Gav were in town, we (the Chaput's) celebrated our Thanksgiving with them, Papa Dan and Jen's parents. It was a packed house on Sunday! We missed Sam, but are happy to hear that he passed the boards to get his promotion to Staff Sergeant. By the way, Jude & Lilly love their cousin! (And no, Gavin's hair is not red...it just looks that way in some of the pictures.)The boys played a lot...Out little Goober...

When Love Means Nothing

Sorry I haven't posted in a really ,really ,long time. I have been kind of

so here's what i want you to do, GOD helping you: take your everyday, ordinary life--your sleeping, eating, going-to-work, and walking-around life--and place it before GOD as an offering. embracing what GOD does for you is the best thing you can do for him. don't become so well adjusted to your culture that you fit into it without even thinking. instead, fix your attention on GOD. you'll be changed from the inside out. readily recognize what he wants from you, and quickly respond to it. unlike the culture around you, always dragging you down to its level of immaturity, GOD brings the best out of you, develops well-formed maturity in you.
