I love Lilly!

Can you believe one month from today she'll be one year old?!

Also, Sam made it home from Afghanistan this morning! I hope to hear from him this afternoon. Mom, Dad & Ann are out in North Carolina until Monday visiting Sammy & Shannon. We're all so happy he is finally home!

'sup

Here are more pictures from the past couple weeks. Enjoy.Jen was here, and then she had spring break and wasn't here, and now spring break's over and she's here again. Good times.Lilly got a new gate for her play area by my office, and she was thrilled with the box. She got at least an hour of good playing time out of it before I put it away. Even her hair was excited about the box. Notice how it is so perky! We made Sam some welcome home signs, and even Lilly contributed!

I love this girl!

I miss Shamby!

Sam is finally coming home from Afghanistan after a year, and last week Shannon moved back to Ft. Bragg in N.C. to get their new house ready for his homecoming. I am already missing her bunches. Who will go on all my errands with me now?! Shannon was my main motivation to get dressed and take a shower before 4 p.m. Now that will never happen. I am happy that Sammy and Shannon will be able to spend some quality time together, but I will miss them both so much. I can't wait until they visit next month!

Happy Valentine's Day!

I love Matthew! (even whe he sports an afro)Finally I am back to post pictures and other exciting information about us once again. I'm sorry it's been so long. As you know, we moved to Mishawaka a couple weekends ago, and it took a while for the internet to get hooked up here. And then my keyboard broke. I got a new one Monday, so we're good to go! Let's see...Since I last wrote, we moved, participated in the renewal services at church, got a new washer and dryer, painted my office, and watched a lot of Felicity and Beverly Hills 90210 on DVD. I'm sure you're thrilled to know that. We don't have any pictures of the house to post yet, so here are a bunch of Miss Lilly. I love her so much!

Howdy

So, I don't really have anything to say, but it's been awhile since I've posted anything...

I suppose I'll update you on the Podjan news of late:

1) Lilly got her 2nd tooth (barely)
2) We are closing on our house on the 2nd!!! I cannot wait to have my very own office! No more working while crammed between my pile...uh, desk and the bed! I will be able to paint! We are so excited. Moving day is the 3rd, if you want to help.
3) Our Monday night classes have started again. For the next 10 weeks we'll be studying "How to Hear God's Voice" by Mark & Patti Virkler.
4) I got a red crock pot. It matches my cell phone. If I had $2700 I could buy the matching washer and dryer, too. But I don't. So I won't.
5) Matt has more friends than I do on Facebook, so you better my friend, and when he asks you to be his friend (he only found you because you were my friend first, or you're friends with one of my friends) say, "No! I am loyal to Kate!"
6) I changed my mind. Matt's a nice guy. You should be his friend too.
7) I am working on new music for worship and I LOVE the new songs!

That's all I have for now. I'll post new pictures soon. Thanks for your patience!

A Big Day For Lilly

Today Lilly turned 9 months old, she had a doctor's appointment, ate her very first finger foods and pulled herself up all by herself! What a big day! I was there to see her stand up the first time, but by the time I had the camera ready, she fell on her face and rolled over (that's the first photo, and then in the second one you can see the mark on her forehead). My little girl's all grown up!

We Found A House!!!!!

After nearly 6 months of searching, walking through about 75 houses, spending countless hours online reading listings, Matt & I FINALLY found a house last Saturday! God provides!
So, here's the cool thing...we weren't even going to go to see this house because it was out of our desired location, but our realtor talked us into it. As we drove up to the house, my dad said, "I know who owns this house!" It is a pastor who recently relocated to Pennsylvania. The moment Matt stepped into the foyer and smelled the brand new carpet and fresh paint, he fell in love with the house. It is squeeky clean and neutral throughout...no wallpaper in sight! We put in our offer Saturday evening, and it was accepted Sunday afternoon. There was an open house there Sunday, so we took the fam to walk through our new house and sign some papers. Here are some photos (thanks, Jen, for the camera). For some reason the photo of my new office won't load, so the only rooms you can't see are the office, the downstairs play area (off of the office), the garage & utility room. You're not missing much.
