We're home!

After a LOOOOONG drive home, we are finally here! Check back soon for photos from our trip to Kansas, our Christmas with Papa Dan & Andy, and our Christmas with Beanie & Tim.

Here's just a taste of our visit...nearly 50 people in one house (with one bathroom) for a day of Christmas festivities...The Lilly Christmas!!!

We're still in Kansas, and I don't have much time to blog right now, but I have TONS of pictures from our visit to post as soon as I get home later this week. We're probably gonna get home on Wednesday, go to Ann & Andrew's to ring in the new year, hang out with Beanie (Maxine) & Tim on New Years Day, and hopefully have time to recouperate before Matt goes back to work on Friday.

Lilly has been sick our entire visit with a fever and nasty cough, and today her fever broke. She's in a much better mood today. So of course, Jude just spiked a fever about an hour ago and he started couhing and snotting all over the place. Yippee.

Pray for us! Now back to the food, family and fun...

Merry Christmas (the first 2 of 7)

Saturday was the kickoff of our Christmas gathering season. Matt, Lilly, Judah & I started the day with our Christmas, and then we headed over to Mom & Dad's for the Chaput extravaganza. Last Friday night, Matt and I met up with Jessie & BJ in Kokomo to attend the Behold the Lamb concert by Andrew Peterson & Friends. It was AWESOME! I am now a fan of all of these anointed artists. I've spent way too much time today downloading their albums, checking out their sites and blogs, and learning their songs. I'm hooked. If you want to hear some amazing musicians, check out:

I was trying to update my header/background. Long story short...I don't like what I did, and I can't get back to what I had. So we're going to be boring on here for a little while until I build up the inspiration for something new.

I saw a funny/quirky/goofy musical last night on Hulu called Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog. You should totally watch it. If you know and like Joss Whedon's stuff, you'll like this (he wrote/directed it). Featuring Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion & Felicia Day.

Lilly's 1st Christmas Program

Lilly had her first Christmas program at GK this past Tuesday. She was beautiful in her new sparkly shoes and tutu/skirt! She felt VERY fancy! Her class sang 2 songs, and they were the cutest little pine trees in the building! Matt taped the concert, but we have not had time to figure out how to get the videos from Ann's camera onto the computer. "I'm a Little Pine Tree"

A GREAT BIG Merry Christmas tree!True to 2 1/2 year old form, Lilly pretty much stood there silently for the majority of her songs, and the LOUDLY sang them ALL THE WAY HOME...and ALL DAY agter the show. But not on stage. Of course. We love our Lilly girl! (Judah was a prince at the concert, too. He sat in his seat without a peep the whole time! We love him, too!)
